Obituary of Thomas Griffin

THOMAS J. GRIFFIN, SR. FARMINGTON: Thomas Griffin, 68, of Birchwood Drive, died unexpectedly Monday, December 17 at Thompson Hospital. Tom was born in Albany, NY, on November 30, 1939 to the late Frederick and Ora Martin Griffin. He had been an independent truck driver in the area for many years and had been an active volunteer with the Patriots Drum and Bugle Corps. He is survived by his son Thomas, Jr. of Rochester; his daughters Tracy Griffin of Walworth, Margaret Griffin of Farmington and Jennifer Griffin of Ionia; four grandchildren; his brother Milton (Loretta) Griffin of Macedon; his sister Marjorie Donoghue of Florida and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose in 1996. Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home Thursday (Dec. 27) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Friday (Dec. 28) afternoon at 2:00. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Farmington Volunteer Fire Department.
