Obituary of Claire F. Aldrich

Claire F. Aldrich, 87, of Shortsville, NY passed away on September 12, 2016. Claire is survived by his daughter-in-law, Jean Johnson, 3 grandchildren Kristeen, James and Delilah, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers, Nathan Jr. and Robert, and many nieces and nephews. Claire is also survived by very special neighbors, Michelle and Chris, and their extended family. Claire was predeceased by his wife, Joan in 2000; son, Ronald in 2014; 2 brothers, Harley and Verne; and a sister, Laura. Claire was born on February 20, 1929 to Nathan L Aldrich, Sr. and Mildred (Fox) Aldrich. He served in the U.S. Army from November of 1950-1952. He was employed for over 40 years at the American Can and was actively involved in union activities during that time. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 2-4 pm at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, NY. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
