Obituary of Elizabeth M. Everett

Elizabeth (Liz) Cornelius Everett Canandaigua- Liz Everett, 92, passed away October 8, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Edward Cornelius; brother, Edwin Cornelius; sister, Evelyn Hollenbeck; husband, James Everett and great-great niece, Courtney Wagner. Liz is survived by great nephew, Lloyd (Denise) Rice; great niece, Jennifer Rice (Nick Thorton); several great great-nieces and nephews. She was a member of the YMCA, taking part in both land and water classes. Liz enjoyed volunteering for many activities. Her last class was just a few months ago. Mary Lou Wise was a special friend at Wilcox Lane and the Horizon's. They shared many hours reminiscing of the old days. Liz had many friends with her positive attitude and giving ways. Honored to be her best friend were Marty Briener and Cindy Hinds, who also became Liz's advocates, making sure she had everything she needed, holding her hand until she passed. In her caring way, Liz requested that there is no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
