Obituary of Emily S. Bauer - McWilliams

Emily (Skellet) Bauer-McWilliams Hopewell- Emily Bauer-McWilliams passed into Heaven November 17, 2016. Emily worked many years for Sommers Motors and then Farnsworth Chevrolet. She was the longest member of the Chapin Church and spent many years as the president of the Hopewell Historical Society. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald V. McWilliams; son, Rick Bauer (Marcia Rajca); step-sons, Paul (Joan) McWilliams and Donald (Diane) McWilliams. Emily was blessed with many nieces, nephews, three step-grandchildren and wonderful friends. Emily was the last surviving child of Carribel and Ralph Skellet and was predeceased by her brothers, Stuart, Merrell and Robert. She will be remembered as a very loving person who enjoyed holiday traditions and family togetherness. The family would like to thank the staff at MM Ewing Continuing Care Center for all their wonderful care. Friends may call Monday, November 21, from 4-7 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua where a 7 pm funeral service will follow at the funeral home.
