In his younger years, he served as a village trustee and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Manchester. He was a family man who adored his wife of 57 years and he was an inspiration and source of wisdom to his entire family. He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie, his son, Richard and his daughter-in-law, Kathy (Volpe) Moses. He is survived by his two daughters; Margaret (Randy) Farnsworth and Mary (Mike) Buttaccio and two sons; Robert Moses, Jim (Janice) Moses.
