Greatly beloved, David William Finnick, passed away on June 9, 2017.

David was born in Canandaigua, New York, on December 4, 1968 to Joyce and Jim Finnick. He went to Canandaigua Academy for High School and spent three years in the U.S. Army.  He worked at the Canandaigua VA since 1991 were he supported many veterans that walked through their doors.

He has spent the last twelve years enjoying life with his loving soul mate Dawn Mamikunian.  He and Dawn share a beautiful daughter, the other great love of his life: Annabelle Finnick.

David was an amazing son, husband, father, stepfather, brother, brother-in-law, cousin and friend to many many people. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to spend time outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, golfing, kayaking and working on his tan.  Nature was his favorite playground. He was happiest helping and spending time with family, friends and his faithful companion Homer.  He had an incredibly kind heart and great sense of humor. He also had a soft spot for all of the ladies making everyone feel cared for and beautiful. He always know how to make you feel like a million dollars.

He is survived by his beloved Dawn and daughter, Annabelle, his mother Joyce, his sister Darcy and her husband Mike and their children: Sammy, Parker and Paige; his brother Steve and wife Linda and their children: Mary, Kyle and Steve; brother JT and his loving partner Carrie and their children: Hannah and Hunter; brother Steve and his wife Chris and his son Ryan; brother Tommy and his daughter Kim; and his stepchildren: Sebastian, Stefan and Asia, and their father Dennis Allen; and many first and second cousins.  He is preceded in death by his father Jim Finnick, brother Jamie Finnick and lifetime best friend Anthony LeGrette.  We will miss you.
