Edwin H. Mason

Crystal Beach- Ed passed away on April 7, 2018.

He is survived by four sons, James (Donna), Brian, Michael and Ken (Dawn); 16 grandchildren, Jeff (Laura), Amanda, Janelle, Taylor, Christy, Katie, Nicki (Austin), Randy (Carissa), Tom (Lawreen), Tonya (Brent), Sara, Ashton; Nine great-grandchildren and several cousins.

Ed was predeceased by his wife, Jeanne (2012) and grandson, Brian Jr. (2005).

Ed was born in 1931. He graduated from Canandaigua in 1950 and enlisted in the US Army, serving in the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. After the war, Ed moved back to Canandaigua and married Jeanne in 1954. They moved to Crystal Beach in 1956.

He worked at G.W. Lisk in Canandaigua and retired from Eastman Kodak after 27 years of service. Ed was a life member of the Crystal Beach Fire Dept. where he held the positions of Chief and 1st Asst. Chief for many years.

The family would like to send special Thanks to the staff of the Gardens Unit at MM Ewing CCC for the excellent care they gave Ed during his stay.

Friends may call Thursday, April 12, from 2-6pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 6pm funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Overackers Cemetery.
