Obituary of Elaine Lyon

Elaine M. Lyon Canandaigua- Elaine Lyon, 65, of Bristol Rd. passed away unexpectedly October 28, 2011 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. A lifelong resident of the Canandaigua area, Elaine retired from F.F. Thompson Hospital after 32 years of service in the Telecommunications Department. She currently was employed part time by T.J. Maxx and found working with her fellow employees and customers enjoyable. Elaine loved going to her camp at Hickory Hill in Bath, N.Y. and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the Secretary Treasurer of the Saturday Nite mixed league at Roseland Bowling Center for over 20 years. Elaine is survived by her Husband of 47 years; Charles Lyon, children; Daniel (Christine) Lyon, Tracy (James)Tierney, Ann Lyon, mother; Viola Johnston, brother; Harold (Barb) Johnston, sister; Joyce (David) Prull, grandchildren; Morgan, Courtney, Taylor, Brooke and Peyton, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father; Lester Johnston. Friends are invited to call Wednesday November 2 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua.
