Obituary of Floyd Johnson

Floyd G. Johnson Newark- Floyd Gene Johnson, 65, of Newark, died June 24, 2012 surrounded by his family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved fiancé, Eileen Rucinski; his children, Peter (Kristen) Johnson, Sarah Johnson (Allan Mallette), Heather Johnson, Tara and Stephen Rucinski; his brother, Edwin E. Johnson Jr.; sister, Kimberly A. (Tom) Roets. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many wonderful friends and family. Floyd was proud and strong man who never lost his dignity. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. He loved to work on and cruise his classic cars. He will always be in our hearts and remembered by our stories and lots of fun memories. An 11 a.m. graveside ceremony will be held Saturday June 30 at Farmington Friends Cemetery, Co. Rd. 8 & Sheldon Rd. Farmington. A celebration of Floyd’s life will follow at 135 Gurnee Rd. Newark. Arrangements are under the care of Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. Canandaigua.
