HELEN NORTHROP
Loving Wife and Aunt
CANANDAIGUA: Helen Northrop, 86, of Hamlin Drive, died Wednesday, October 31, at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center.
Helen was born in Canandaigua on Oct. 4, 1926 to the late Frank and Myrtle Uhl. She was a member of the cafeteria staff of the Canandaigua City School District for many years. She enjoyed reading, was a avid card player and loved talking politics.
Her husband and "love of her life" Lee died in 1995. Survivors include her sisters Dorothy Crowley and Arlene Hubbard; her sister-in-law Beverly Northrop; her brother-in-law Donald Baier and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Ruth Johnson, Mildred Johnson, Frances Lafler, Jean "Shirley" Baier, Frank Uhl and Gordon Uhl.
Friends are invited to call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 where funeral services will follow visitation at 11:30. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. It has been suggested that memorial contributions be directed to Woodlawn Cemetery, 130 North Pearl St., Canandaigua or to the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
