Obituary
Obituary of Cherlyn Faye Ens
Cherlyn Faye Ens (Javet)
March 23, 1942 - December 30, 2019
Cherie rejoined the love of her life, Don Ens, on December 30th in Canandaigua, NY. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Caruso, her son in law, Frank, her beloved grandsons, Cutter and Dalton, a host of loving extended family, wonderful friends and her faithful feline companion, Bubba.
Besides her family, devoted friends, and church, Cherie’s passion in life was her career. A Nurse Anesthetist who loved her work, Cherie was employed for several years at St Mary’s Hospital in Rochester before moving to FF Thompson in Canandaigua. She would talk shop with anyone who was interested and even enjoyed a couple of short term hospitalizations because she was able to talk with other medical professionals.
Cherie also enjoyed cooking, Bible study, knitting, crocheting, gardening and a great sense of humor. Throughout her many health trials, even the latest which left her paralyzed, she kept smiling and fighting.
Friends may call Thursday, January 2, from 5-7pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. An 11am Funeral service will be held Friday, January 3, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 320 S. Pearl St. Canandaigua. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation or the CCIA Food Pantry in Canandaigua.
