Obituary of Jay B. Stubbings
Jay B. Stubbings Bristol, On February 11th, 2020 at Rochester General Hospital. Survived by his wife of 60 yrs MaryJane (Whitney), son James (Bristol), daughters Jean (Rochester), Julie (S.C.) , grandson Casey (CO.), sister Kay Place (Fairport). His life long friend Howard Merritt (Webster). And many good and dear friends in Bristol. Also many cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. After high school he joined the U.S. Marines. When he returned home he joined his father and father in law in the trucking business, which became his life long passion and occupation. He was a life long member of the F&M lodge 476 in Fairport. He was also a member of the 32nd Mason & Shriners (Rochester). In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Blue Star Mothers (Bloomfield) and the Bristol Fire Dept. (Bristol) There will be no calling hours per Jays' request. A graveside service will be at the Evergreen cemetery in Bristol at a later date in the spring.
