Obituary of Douglas C. Whipple

Douglas C. Whipple Canandaigua- Douglas C Whipple, 69, passed away unexpectedly March 17, 2020 at FF Thompson Hospital. He was employed by HEP Sales and in his free time enjoyed small engine repair. Doug always enjoyed helping family, friends, and neighbors. He previously worked as an Owner Operator for KAJE Transportation and hauled Modular Homes for ASI, both out of Farmington. Douglas is survived by his children Stacey Vanderwall, and Christopher Whipple (Rachel), three grandchildren, Makenzie, Elliott, and Spencer, sister Coreen Tricky (John), brother Jesse Whipple Jr., brother Michael Whipple (Joan), sister Sue Scrooby (Tom) along with several nieces and nephews. Doug was predeceased by parents Jesse and Arlie Whipple, sisters Sharon Backus, and Vickie Holmes. A private graveside service will be held in Pine Bank Cemetery.
