Obituary of Lucille S. Cowan

Lucille S. Cowan Canandaigua- Lucille Cowan, 104, passed away peacefully March 28, 2020 at the Wayne County Nursing Home. Born in Farmington, Lucille attend East Bloomfield Schools. She worked at Stromberg Carlson in Rochester during WWII soldering circuit boards for the US Navy. After the war effort, Lucille managed Pecks Poke About Shop in Canandaigua for 35 years. She also spent many years working at Crown Jewelry. Lucille was predeceased by her husband, John P.(Jack) Cowan in 2005; brothers, Harold, Everett, George and Frank Schrader; sister, Rose Cornish. She is survived by her brother, Gordon Schrader; sister, Virginia Ferguson; many nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua.
