Tim is my best friends brother, and truly was one of the sweetest people ever. He married Mindy, and took care of her for years through her challenging medical issues that surfaced only a year after their ceremony. His devotion to her was endless, as was his caring nature for all the folks he worked with and for over the years. When I heard that he'd joined the VA Suicide Hotline team, I couldn't imagine a better person to be counseling people in such dire need of a kind word and a reason to live. Tim hosted our Christmas Eve gatherings for over a decade; we all watched this (somewhat sappy, but wonderful nonetheless) movie called The Snowman every year. Tim's homemade chips and salsa are legendary; his DJ'ing skills at the dances will be remembered fondly - he KNEW how to get the clients dancing every time! Tim finally had the perfect house with an amazing kitchen to practice his culinary skills, a big field for Scooter the cat to enjoy, and still actively working at Happiness House, with plenty to enjoy about his life... so not fair that he's gone, but he will not be forgotten by all whose lives he touched. Whenever you see a sunflower, remember Tim.

Tim I am al a lost of words I always loved working with you and helping you with your Rescues on the Hotline. You were the only Man that would bring his PJ 's in for our PJ night at work.. Your backpack was always the talk of the night.. You would bring up the spirts when others were having a bad night. We still talk about all The Salsa that you made along with the chips. We still talk about the Spicy Chili and the Hottest spoon award.. Well know you are sailing on the best of waters and are at peace. Enjoy and we all know that you are still a Night Owl watching down on us all Love you and miss ya " D"

I will remember Tim and his outgoing spirit, his willingness to help anyone in need and mostly I will remember him as my fellow overnight colleague and friend. Tim always had a smile and will most remember his love for nature as he would always post the sunrise report at 530am everyday. He was a brilliant man and will never be forgotten, rest easy friend.

I knew Tim since we were children. Hanging out around the lake, water skiing endlessly, later beers and music. Even though our lives went in different directions, we still touched base with each other periodically for the rest of our lives. He always was there, and it is now very strange not to hear his distinctive laugh. I'll miss him.

Tim and I shared a love of music and he often called me his personal musicologist. I have never met a kinder, more gentle man in all of my life. Tim’s laugh and sense of humor made those around him smile, and his quick wit will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace, Tim, I will carry your memory with me always!

Tim and I and many others worked together on overnights at the Veterans Crisis Line for several years. Tim was the most generous and empathetic human being I have ever had the good fortune of knowing.
Tim was a friend and co-worker, and we all benefited from his wisdom and empathy. As a Veteran, I know with out a doubt that Tim helped other Veterans in crisis and made a real difference in their lives as well as their families!
Rest in Peace Tim.

Tim and my father worked at the Post Office together, and we virtually grew up together on the West Lake Road in our youth.
Anyone who followed Tim's life knew how dedicated he was in putting others ahead of himself. Never a negative comment came from Tim.
Jody, I grew up with you also, and my heart felt condolences go out to you, and ALL of Tim's family.
We have lost a cheerful, wonderful fellow, but his memory will always live on.
Sincerely, Dave Monahan

I am so blessed to have had the honor of spending time with Tim. We spent many a night shift chatting about LIFE, past jobs that he loved so much, his new house, and the people who meant so much to him. Tim's sense of humor never ceased to make me smile, giggle and even blush a bit. He was a true gentleman. At the end of each shift he'd wait patiently to walk me out to my car, and always said thanks for everything " we make a great team". Fly high my friend...and thank You for touching my heart. Keep them laughing up there!

Dear Jody and family,
Hank and I are so very sorry to hear of Tim's passing. He was a very special guy, I remember several great times at the camp when Hank and I would go down to assist on a Sunday. He was so good and caring with all of those children, he treated them like they were his children. May your wonderful memories help you through the days ahead. Hugs to you and your family.
Love,
Mary Ann & Hank Trickey
