Obituary of Dennis Irving Carson

Dennis I. Carson "Grandpa C" Canandaigua- Dennis Carson passed away peacefully on May 19, 2020. A lifelong resident of Canandaigua, Dennis graduated from the Academy in 1956. Following graduation he join the United States Navy and served for 18 years. He retired with the rank of Chief Quarter Master Submarine Service. After the Navy, Dennis returned to Canandaigua and worked at the VA Medical Center and as a Handyman. "Grandpa C" enjoyed watching Canandaigua High School Sports, especially football, lacrosse and cheerleading. He could always be seen and heard ringing his infamous cowbell. He is survived by his five children, Sherri McCall, Teague, TX, Michael Carson, Canandaigua, Michele (Doug) Caulkins, Jamestown, NY, Mark (Lori) Carson, Canandaigua, Denise (John) Henderson, Anahvac, TX; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
