Obituary of Gerald P. Stanley

Gerald P. Stanley Canandaigua- Gerald Peter Stanley (Jerry), 32 of Canandaigua, passed away Sunday, September 27th, 2020 from a fatal motorcycle accident in the town of Palmyra. He was born in Canandaigua, NY on September 2nd 1988 to Thomas and Carol Stanley. ​ ​Jerry loved to work on motorcycles with his friend, John at Bristol Hills Cycle. He loved to ride with his best friends, John, Cory, and Dan. He was a passionate guitar player. Jerry loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He loved staying at and spending time with his Uncle Rich, Aunt Donna, Aunt Brenda, brother Brendon, and best friends Dan and John. ​Jerry was so excited about his newest nephew being born on his last birthday. He was known for his patience and his crooked smile. He could make you laugh with his good sense of humor. His laughter was contagious among his family and friends. Jerry was a very creative and imaginative person. Looking at him you would never think he was the most kind-hearted and giving person. Jerry doted on his two dogs, Mika and Cue. ​Jerry survived by father Thomas, mother Carol (Bruce), sister Jessica (Jon) and nephew Simon, brother, Justin (Erin); nephew, Jordan and nieces Natalia and Maiya nephew Colton, brother Brendon (Helen) and nephews Brendon Ryder and Abraham. Several aunts and uncles. Close friends of family, Cheryl, Denise, Pat, John, Dan, and Cory. ​Friends may call Monday, October 5 from 4-6pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 6pm funeral service will follow at the funeral home. A 10am graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 6, in Woodlawn Cemetery. “Always remember yesterday, But always live for today, You never know what tomorrow can bring or what it can take away.” Unknown
