Obituary of Robert C. Erb

Bristol - Robert C. (Bob) Erb, passed on March 12, 2021. Born May 4th, 1925 to Hazel and Ammon Erb of Canandaigua, NY. He proudly served his country during WW II in the US Navy, and as an active and reserve member of the US Air Force during the Korean and Viet Nam wars. He worked for many years as an Operating Engineer for various construction companies in the Rochester/Finger Lakes region, and retired to his beloved Adirondack Mountains. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and nature lover, spending countless hours hunting and trapping in the Bristol Hills, and roaming the North Country of New York. He is survived by wife Dorothy, children Rob (Julie) Erb and Rhonda (Bill) Jenner and son, grandchildren Kerry and Travis (Amy) Erb, sisters Shirley Senglaub and Isabelle Ottley, several nieces and nephews. In the interest of health and safety, there will be no calling hours or memorial services at this time. A military memorial is being planned for a later date. Family and friends are encouraged to make donations to the Arbor Day Foundation or the SPCA.
