This past Monday The Gone Cruisin’ Car Club lost our friend and brother Aaron J. Bellis in a fatal traffic accident at about 2PM in Sodus. He was an all around great guy, always there to hangout and join the fun, offer a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, to cheer you up if you needed it, or to cheer you on when things were good, and one of the best friends you could ever ask for. You don't have to take my word for it. Ask anyone who knew him, they will tell you all that and more. He was definitely a rare type of person to meet these days, and those of us who really got to know him and were considered by him as friends should consider ourselves lucky, and fortunate to have known him. He will be remembered always, and sorely missed. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and all of his friends. Rest easy brother. We'll catch up later.

I met Aaron when I first started dating my now husband, Charlie, almost 5 years ago. Aaron and Charlie were co workers and friends. Aaron was always smiling, friendly and eager to make a light hearted joke about my “taste in men”. Charlie and I accompanied Aaron to a few car shows and it was obvious the joy and pride he found in showing his cars. Aaron was a good friend to Charlie, he had his back and was always willing to offer support and a listening ear when needed. Charlie and I will miss Aaron greatly. We are so saddened at his sudden loss but forever grateful to have had him in our lives.

Aaron, I am so sorry that such a wonderful person like you has left us here. My condolences go to your family. And my family and I will always have our Saturday after work “breakfast” that we all looked forward to. Fly high you’re an angel watching your family and hopefully helping them heal from their pain. I am so sorry this has happened to you. Our hearts are broken.
