Obituary of Jane M. Lenzi
Jane Marie (Seeley) Lenzi, 78 of Hopewell Center passed away peacefully on June 8, 2021 at FF Thompson Hospital after a long struggle with physical illness.

A spirited woman, and a force to be reckoned with Jane lived an ambitious, and adventurous life. Jane served her community as a loyal blood donor, and volunteered at her local election polling site. She served as a member of the Rushville Hose Co. fire police in the late 70s. However the roll most dear to her was that of wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her unconditional love and support for her family will be sadly missed, and lovingly remembered. She always strived to make every occasion special. She never failed to see the good in loved ones, and offer support when life got tough. Even as her family grew large she always found ways to make each person feel especially loved. Jane was a skilled self-taught artist, and crafter. In her younger years she play a polka on the accordion, and made a wonderful red wine. She excelled at quilting and dress making handcrafting many gifts for her family. Her latest passion was wood burning. Jane had a colorful personality and a love of all things sparkly. She enjoyed a large collection of bells, and wind chimes. Jane had a deep love of all animals with a special fondness for hummingbirds. Her and her husband gave a loving home to many rescue dogs over their years together.
Jane is survived by her loving husband and caregiver of 41 years Vincent Lenzi, two children Charles Ryan of Phelps NY, and Tina Spratley (Cliff Craft) of Waterloo, NY, one daughter in law Rachelle Matoon, and nine grandchildren: Caitlyne (Matthew) Spangle, Matthew (Heather) Ryan, Chelsi Ryan (Alex Griffee), Brandy Ryan (Bryan Teed), Mackenzi (Andreas) Rindfleisch, Jessica Raskind (Joe Guererri), Joshua (Carrie) Spratley, Joseph Spratley, Sweetie Spratley (Josh Witt), seventeen great grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews.
