Obituary of Edward S. Nichols

Edward S. Nichols , 87 of Canandaigua passed away July 5, 2021 at Thompson Hospital after a brief illness. At his request there will be no service. Ed was born in the borough of Manhattan at Harlem Hospital on March 23, 1934. He served in the Navy for 4 years aboard the Destroyer USS Gatlin. He worked for 40 years at Rochester Gas and Electric in the Transportation Department. Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a bit of a collector of items he enjoyed. He is survived by his wife Gladys, Stepson Lloyd Rockwell (Margie), Grandchildren Chris Rockwell (Kara), Kimberly Brooks (Jermey), Billy Hardy, Lisa Lefave (Nathan) and 8 Great Grandchildren children. Ed was preceded in death by his parents James and Margret Nichols.
