Roy William Erb Obituary

Roy W. Erb, 65, passed away on May 4th at the home of his loving companion, Jane Blakesley.


Roy was born in Canandaigua. He graduated from Red Jacket High School in 1977, where he played sports and made many lifelong friends. He served in the United States Air Force. Roy will be greatly missed by 2 sons, Clay Erb (Crystal) and Dylan Erb (Amanda); 3 grandchildren, Alexa, Autumn and Dominik, all of Florida; his mother, Beverly; and siblings - Karen (Wayne), Mary, Carl Jr. and David (Matthew); plus, many other relatives and good friends. He is predeceased by his father, Carl, and brother, Scott. Roy was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and treasured his Harley. He helped family and many friends with his handyman skills.


A celebration of his life is planned for August 5th from 2-5pm at the American Legion in Shortsville. The family requests you wear something of Buffalo Bills or Harley Davidson if you are able. Many thanks to Finger Lake Ambulance and Fuller Funeral Home. Donations to charity of your choice.
