Bradley (Brad) Stell


Born in Canandaigua on November 20, 1971, and died suddenly Friday, January 31, 2025. Brad graduated from Canandaigua Academy and Finger Lakes Community College. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, His favorite sports teams were the Syracuse Orangemen and the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed playing fantasy football, and geocaching.


Brad is survived by his father Richard Stell, Siblings Debbie (Donnie) Kilbourne, Todd (Mary Jane) Stell, Kevin (Terri) Stell, Kelly (Robin) Allen, Daughters Ava Stell, Abbey Stell, mother of their children Rachel Griffin, and many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his mother Janet Stell and Stepmother Brenda Stell.


A graveside memorial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery on Friday, February 21st at 12pm. Following the memorial, a service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Canandaigua at 1pm, followed by a gathering for family and friends.


Brad’s wish was to be an organ donor. With his advanced diabetes and kidney disease, his donation was not possible. The family asks that you consider becoming an organ donor in Brad’s memory.
