Robert Sieben

Obituary of Robert Sieben

Robert Sieben, of Endicott, NY born April 15th, 1942 in Passaic, NJ, passed away surrounded by family and friends on February 24th, 2025 at Thompson Hospital. Robert is survived by his wife Joanne (Castner) Sieben and his three children Michael, Lisa and Jennifer (Soren Hadrich), as well as brother Paul Sieben and wife Linda. Included in the extended family are Robert's foster children Judy Grey, Joseph Grey and Ricky Grey. Shortly after moving to Canandaigua, NY in the early 70's many lifelong friendships and bonds were made through organizations like The Knights of Columbus where Robert was a fourth degree Knight. Canandaigua Jr. Baseball League where Robert was Commissioner for many years and with the persistent nagging of his daughter Lisa finally started the summer softball league. Robert also coached varsity football at Canandaigua Academy and Midlakes High School. Empire Consultant Services is where Robert made most of his friends. His intellect and expertise helped hundreds of clients throughout the years and at the end of every appointment (whether you talked about business or not for two hours) you could surely hear him say "my door is always open." Robert had such a big heart. Wanted to help anyone he could. With continuous support from his wife Joanne and help from his daughter Jennifer, Bob became the working man's accountant. Robert loved nature, hunting, collecting knickknacks and books. So many books. He and his son Michael loved collecting movies and watching them together. He loved to make people smile. His smile and laugh were infectious. You couldn't help but want to be around Bob Sieben. If you were lucky, you might have spotted Bob and his ever-faithful canine companion Murphy in the Post Office or in the cart at Wegmans. Rarely did Bob go anywhere without Murphy. At this time, take a minute or two to remember Robert Sieben and how he may have touched a part of your life. You can honor his memory by reaching out to someone you have not spoken to in a long while. Bob, you will be lovingly remembered. Put the pencil down, time to rest.
