Linda F. Shaffer, 65, of Canandaigua NY, passed peacefully on March 28, 2025, at the Light Hill comfort care home.

Linda was born in Lyons NY on June 30, 1959, to the late Marilyn and Don Shaffer. She graduated from the Canandaigua Academy and has spent much of her life in the area. Linda had a green thumb, and she found great joy in gardening and tending to her plants. She adored being an aunt and loved any news about new arrivals. Linda spent many years providing exceptional care for people in need of assistance. Her standards were impeccable.

Linda is survived by her brother Keith and Brenda (Jones); many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Linda also leaves behind an extensive close-knit group of friends that will carry her in their hearts forever.

Linda was predeceased by brothers Paul and Craig and sisters Carol and Donna.

Friends may call Thursday, April 3, from 9-11 AM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. Please feel free to share a memory or read something if you would like between 10:30-11 AM. Interment will follow at the Boughton Hill Cemetery, 1518 NY-444 Victor, NY. A reception will be held at the Green Front starting at 2 PM.
