It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Henry Fox. Doctor Henry
(Hank) Fox died on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in Rochester, NY at 88 years of age. He fought the
good fight and finished the race. Hank is survived by his loving and devoted daughter Paula Fox
and his grandchildren Anna and Nicholas.
He also leaves the family of his beloved wife, Mary Ann (Dwyer) Fox who predeceased him in
2011. We pray they are reunited today. Mary Ann's family includes her brother Timothy
(Marjorie) Dwyer of Southern Pines, NC, her sister Kathleen Dwyer (Binghamton, NY) and
brother Joseph (Rochester, NY).
He was also predeceased by his parents Henry and Anna (Manogue) Fox, and sister Mary Fox of
Troy, NY; his first wife Margaret (Bains) Fox, his beloved son, Jeffrey Fox, and Jeff's wife
Frances (Bender) Fox. Hank also leaves numerous friends in Canandaigua, Naples and Wayland, especially his church community at St. Januarius in Naples and his many friends at Quail Summit in Canandaigua.
Hank was a graduate of St. Michael's College in Burlington, Vermont and the University of
Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland. After serving in the U.S. Army at Ft. Dix,
New Jersey, Hank opened his dental practice in Canandaigua in 1962, where he practiced for his
entire career.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 22, at 9 AM at St. Januarius Church, 180 N. Main St., Naples followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM. A 1:00 burial will take place the same day at St. Michaels Cemetery, 54 W. Lake Rd., Penn Yan.
