Michael D. Krossber Obituary

Michael Dale Krossber passed away peacefully on April 21st, 2025, at the age of 58.

Michael was a lifelong member of the Canandaigua community. He spent his life trying to make others happy, to have a smile or just feel a moment of joy in their day. He was quick to have a great big hello for everyone he ever met. He tried to make everyone feel special, because he believed everyone was special.

He wanted everyone to feel God's love through him. A devout Christian Michael devoted his life to spreading the word and had very strong beliefs. He would spend hours discussing with you if you were ready to hear or if not, he would talk to you about whatever.

Michael was a gearhead, and both loved working on vehicles, building things with his hands, and music. If you ever got stranded, he'd be the first one to drop everything and come to your rescue.

Ministry was his calling in life. Michael has gone to join the Lord, his little brother David Mason; grandmother Irene (Harris) Atwood; and Grandfather Walter Steinbaugh.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanne (Atwood) Mason; father, Daniel Ribis; sister, Laura (Krossber) Pugliese-Fournier; brother-in-law, Jonathan Fournier; nieces, Kaitlyn Pugliese, Katrinna Pugliese-Wallace (Kevon), Kaila Pugliese, Brianna Mason; nephews, Joshua Mason, Delano Laplant, and Gryphien Mason; and his many great nieces and nephews.

Michael's calling hours will be held from 10 AM – 12 PM, May 9th at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 12 PM memorial service will follow at the funeral home. Immediately after the memorial service, a reception will be held at Outhouse Park in the hall in Canandaigua.

Donations may be made in honor of Michael to Gleaners Community Kitchen, 183 North Main St. Canandaigua, NY 14424.
