With heavy hearts we are letting you know that on May 12, 2025, Albert J. Suffredini, 76, passed away. Al is now at peace after his battle with ALS.

Albert is a graduate of Mynderse Academy and St. John Fisher College. Al was one of the early vista volunteers, helping underprivileged children learn to read in North Las Vegas. He climbed Mount Washington, was a Deputy sheriff and a Social Worker at the VA. He was a voluntary service officer, helped raise money for programs to help veterans. Al was one of the first cochlear implant recipients in the area. One of the most accomplished things he has done, was work with HLAA and advocating for hearing loss education. He encouraged people to see if they could benefit from a cochlear implant, like he did. It opened up his world immensely and he continued to educate about hearing loss. He was involved in health fairs and has been an advocate for buildings, venues and churches to have hearing accessible resources. He was a lifetime Dodgers fan and was a 40 plus year member of the Elks.
