Michael Keith Purdy, age 60, of Stanley, NY, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025. Born on October 10, 1964, in Canandaigua, Mike was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.


For over 25 years, Mike proudly served his community as a dedicated truck driver for Dudley Poultry—a role he cherished and in which he took great pride. Known for his unmistakable sense of humor, Mike had a rare gift for making people laugh. His laughter, bright smiles, and unforgettable bear hugs left a lasting impact on everyone he met.


Mike is survived by his loving family: his mother, Marjorie Hamelinck (Perrin); father, Keith Purdy; stepfather, Robert Hamelinck; and stepmother, Linda Purdy (Pendleton). He will be deeply missed by his children, Sara and Stuart Purdy, and his cherished grandchildren, Leanna Johnston and Landon Balon. Mike also leaves behind his siblings: Brenda Vavra (Purdy), Clayton Purdy, Joe Purdy, Luke Purdy, Melissa Corona (Purdy), and Sharon Aebersold (Purdy).


He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Purdy.


A celebration of Mike's life will be Saturday, July 19th at 3:00 PM, 341 Cottrell Rd. Waterloo, NY where friends and family will gather to share stories, laughter, and fond memories of a man whose warmth and kindness touched so many.


Mike's joyful spirit and genuine heart will never be forgotten.
