Francis B. "Frank" Scalzo Jr. Obituary

North Syracuse - Francis Scalzo, 81, passed away August 11, 2025, at home.

Frank was born in Rochester on September 11, 1943, to the late Francis and Carmella Scalzo. He was a licensed plumber and tool maker and worked for Eastman Kodak for 21 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Canandaigua.


He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Christopher M. Scalzo and Hanney Sarkis-Scalzo; his grandchildren, Rachel and Adam Holland, Christina Scalzo and Thomas Scalzo; his great-grandson, Benjamin Ezra Holland; and his sister-in-law, Sandra Dixon, and several nieces and nephews.


He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Scalzo, his sister, Geraldine and John Petrilli, and his brother-in-law, Fredrick Dixon.


There will be no calling hours. Frank's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 95 N. Main Street, Canandaigua, at 12:30 PM on Monday, August 18.
