Richard ("Rick") Palmer, age 75, passed away on August 29, 2025.

He is survived by his son, Sean (Jill), his life long partner, Nancy Herbst, daughter and son-in-law, Stef and Robert Tarpy, daughter Julie Steet and daughter Kelly Valeri; grandchildren, Vanessa, Ben, Theo, Allison and Evan, his brother, Thomas (Karen) and their children, Timothy and Sarah.

Rick was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and loved to spend time in nature, be it camping or tending to his beloved property on Keuka Lake (known as The Land), where he built a recreational home that he loved to share with Nancy and family and friends. Rick's unique sense of humor, generosity and heartwarming presence will be deeply missed.
