CANANDAIGUA----Robert E. Naracong, 72, passed away unexpectedly April 12, 2025, at F.F. Thompson Hospital.

Bob was a lifelong resident of Canandaigua and had recently retired after serving 25 years as a security guard at Finger Lakes Racetrack. He was known for his quick wit, strong opinions, love of politics and a good joke, and fondness for animals. Following his graduation from Canandaigua Academy he worked in security positions at Bristol Harbour, Xerox and Volplex.

He was predeceased by his parents Judy and Raymond "Putt" Naracong.

Known as "Ed" to Seneca Point residents, he also operated a lawn maintenance and trash pick-up service for many years and enjoyed trading stories with clients and handing out treats to their dogs.

He is greatly missed by his longtime friends Barbara Fox and Harold Power and beloved cats.
