It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Sharon Rae Hayward, 83, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, peacefully in her home in Canandaigua surrounded by her family.

She lived in the Naples area for most of her life, graduating in 1960. She worked most of her adult life in administrative roles in various places such as the George Eastman House, the Canandaigua VA and The Savings Bank of the Finger Lakes. Sharon lived a full and happy life surrounded by her friends and family. She enjoyed being mom, grandma/Gaga/Muga and great grandma. She's known for her contagious smile and ability to make others laugh. She will be remembered for her kind and generous nature and her love of animals, especially her cat, Cali.

She is predeceased by her husband, David Lee Hayward, her sister Georgia Snyder, and three brothers, Melvin Snyder, Clayton Snyder (Rosie), and Milton Snyder (Nancy).

She is survived by her children Kelly Hayward Stone (Rebecca), Kimmi Garrigues, Clinton Hayward (Gina), Jennifer Lyons (Russell) and two stepchildren Lori (Hugh) Chapman and Scott (Brenda) Hayward. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Friends may call Sunday, November 30th, from 4-7 PM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo Street, Canandaigua. A funeral service will be held, Monday, December 1st at 10:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3475 Hopkins Road, Canandaigua.
