The family of Debra Ann Carnrite of Canandaigua, NY, is saddened to announce her passing on January 14, 2026, at the age of 60 in the comfort of her home.

Deb was born and raised in Canandaigua, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, Kathryn Marshall and Raymond Carlton.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Steven Carnrite; sons Eric and Charlie LaPlant and Steven Carnrite; grandson Paxton LaPlant; brothers Ray, Scott and Jerry; sisters Penny and Christine; uncles Dave (Donna) Turner and Jack (Karen) Turner; several nieces and nephews along with in-laws.

Debra (Red) worked at Thompson Hospital for 22 years. She will be remembered for her kindness and unwavering integrity. Her laughter and sense of humor were gifts to everyone who knew her, as was her love for the Buffalo Bills!!

The family would like to thank Rochester Highland Hospital Cancer Center for the excellent care Debra received while she fought cancer.
