It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Phyllis Elaine (Schramm) Badger, 89, on March 1, 2026.
A loving mother, grandmother and friend, she leaves behind her daughter, Dawn (Ben) Cotterell; son, John (Cindy) Badger; granddaughter, Tawnee Badger; close family friend, Holly Krossber and special nephew, Jim; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded by husband, Donald Badger on March 2, 2001, brothers John and Otto; sisters, Betty and Elaine.
Phyllis was born and raised in Canandaigua by her uncle Leon and aunt Ethel Warters. She graduated from Canandaigua Academy and went to work at Rochester Telephone then left there to take a job at the Finger Lakes Racetrack and retiring after 50 plus years. Known for her love for her family and friends, she would do anything for anyone. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary Post 256, she was an avid bowler, she loved to cook and entertain for family and friends. She was known for her spunky, spicy attitude and telling it like it is gal. She will be greatly missed.

An 11:00 AM graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 10, at Woodlawn Cemetery 130 N. Pearl St. Canandaigua.
