Mark Charles Higley (a.k.a. Uncle Mike, Higs), 59 of Canandaigua, NY, passed away after a brief illness on March 23, 2026, at Thompson Hospital.

Mark was born on August 30, 1966, in Canandaigua, NY to Judith (Brown) and William L. Higley. Mark graduated from Canandaigua Academy in 1985 and earned an associate's degree from Alfred Tech. Mark, along with his business partner Peter Tubiolo, was co-owner of Finger Lakes Painting and Wall Covering in Rochester, NY. that they started in 2006.

Mark was a loving brother, uncle, friend and respected by all who knew him. Mark was an avid golfer, snowmobiler and loved anything with a motor. Mark always looked forward to his annual golf and racing trips with family and friends.

Mark is survived by his sister Lynn (Frank) Kelly, brother Todd Higley (Cathy Kimball), his nephews Connor (Erika) Kelly, Keghan (Erin) Kelly, Kyle (Justine) Higley, Sean Higley, great nephew Maddox, four great nieces Mia, Olivia, Caroline and Baby C. (due in June), along with many close friends too numerous to mention.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call Thursday, April 2, from 5-7 PM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held at a later date.
