Robert "Bob" George Kingston, 79, of Canandaigua, NY, passed away peacefully at home on April 24, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Bob was born on February 12, 1947, in Auburn, NY, to George and Victoria Kingston. He graduated from Waterloo Central High School in 1965 and went on to earn his master's degree in physical education from Midwestern College in Denison, Iowa.

Bob dedicated 34 years of his life to education as an elementary physical education teacher at Bloomfield Central Schools. Throughout his career, he coached numerous modified sports programs as well as varsity baseball. A passionate golfer, Bob was instrumental in establishing the varsity golf program at Bloomfield High School. He also officiated many sporting events at both high school and collegiate levels.

Bob had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time on the golf course. Above all, he cherished his role as a proud "Poppa" to his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Carole Kingston; his two sons, Kevin (Jolene) Kingston and Kyle (Michelle) Kingston; and his four grandchildren, Nataly, Jacob, Ashley, and Ryan.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 29, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home located at 190 Buffalo St, Canandaigua, NY 14424. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 30, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Canandaigua.
