Manchester-Tuesday, July 21, 2026, she went peacefully to join her Lord Savior at age 91.

Helen was born Monday, May 6, 1935, in Canandaigua, NY. She was the daughter of Mathilde and Fred H. Yahn.

A lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pumpkin Hook, Farmington, NY.

Helen was a graduate of Victor Central School and a 22-year employee of Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic. She was a dedicated member of the CSH & C Auxiliary, where she served as President and Auxiliary Advocacy Chair.

Helen was a Board member and served as Treasurer of the North Farmington Friends Cemetery Association. She was also an active member of the Clifton Springs Historical Society.

Helen is predeceased by her parents Mathilde and Fred H. Yahn; brother William Yahn; sisters Lillian Yahn and Marion Ferris; loving husband of 62 years William Charles Schwartz and her daughter Kathleen S. Schwartz.

She is survived by son Kenneth Schwartz; granddaughters Karen (Christopher) Clark and Tracy (Kevin) King; great-grandsons Benjamin, Ryan and Travis Clark; great grand-daughters Meghan Johnson, Emily (Ethan) Whipple, Harley, Courtney and Kenzeigh King; great-great grandson Jack Payne; great-great-granddaughter Audrey; brother-in-law Richard (Barbara) Schwartz. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Helen's life will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church 153 Church Avenue, Farmington. Interment will immediately follow at the North Farmington Friends Cemetery.
