Obituary of Kenneth Trible

​Kenneth W. Trible passed away on April 26, 2015. He is survived by his wife Lorain, daughter Karen (David) White and grandsons David, Jr. and Thomas. He is also survived by his nephews and niece Herbert (Kathy) Kehrer, Clayton (Kathy) Trible and Margaret (Earl) Fisher. Mr. Trible will also be greatly missed by his lifelong friend, Dick Weber, who resides in Bradenton, FL. ​He was predeceased by his son Kenneth, Jr. He is also predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Margaret, his sister, Marguerite, and brother, Jack. ​He loved golf and all sports, a fan especially of the Yankees and Buffalo Bills. ​Mr. Trible was born November 2, 1922 in Buffalo, New York. He graduated from Bennett High School. Ken was a WWII veteran serving in North Africa and India. He and Lorain were long time volunteers at the Canandaigua VA. ​His career path included sales positions, management positions with General Motors. He ended his career as the proud owner of Ken Trible Pontiac in Depew, New York. ​Upon retirement, he and Lorain moved to Canandaigua, New York where their daughter Karen lives. Not long after that, their first grandson, David, was born. Thomas was born a few years later. Ken and Lorain were amazing grandparents and together with David and Thomas have many truly great memories. Both generations were so fortunate to have had each other for so many years. ​Ken was a devoted husband. He and Lorain would celebrate 65 years of marriage June 3, 2015. ​Sadly, their son, Kenneth, Jr. passed away ten years ago from cancer. Such a loss is life changing, but they supported one another, focusing on the blessings in their lives. ​Their daughter Karen is grateful for the many years the family had together. Her wonderful memories are countless. She knows how important it is to her father that she take care of her mom. He can rest in peace knowing she will be there for Lorain every day. ​Ken was a masterful story teller. He loved to recount stories about his youth, the War, his career, and his friends. He and Lorain had many friends with whom they gathered often to watch sports, play cards, and celebrate holidays. They enjoyed good health and independence their entire lives. Ken passed away following a car accident, sustaining injuries that weakened him and from which he could not recover. ​Services will be private for the family. ​To share a memory or express condolences online please visit www.fullerfh.com.
