Obituary of Herbert Fehrenbach

Herbert Fehrenbach Farmington- Bert Fehrenbach passed away May 23, 2015 at his home. Born in Rochester to the late Herbert and Mildred Fehrenbach, he was the youngest of six with five older sisters. Bert was a graduate and star of the McQuaid Jesuit Knights’ sports teams in 1968 and then attended Niagara University. In 1972 he entered the Rochester Carpenters Union and retired as a foreman from longtime friend Scott Hept's Accurate Acoustical in 2006. Bert was an avid golfer with a deep passion for fitness. After retiring he became a full time certified personal trainer where he took immense satisfaction building relationships with his clients and helping them accomplish their goals. Bert had a lifetime love of fitness that lead him to compete in several all-natural body building competitions across New York State. His discipline and dedication brought home numerous first place trophies in the masters division. Bert's passion for fitness however was no match for the love he had for his family, primarily his role as a grandparent. His ability to spoil a dinner and give dune buggy rides were second to none. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his son, Nathan. Bert is survived by his wife of 43 years, Beverly; sons, Jason (Heather), Noah (Jen); daughter, Melane (Martin) James; daughter in-law, Selena; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Anne Fehrenbach, of NY, Jane (Gene) Scorse, of FL, Suzie Scuteri Roy, of FL, Nancee (Jim) Fetzner, of NY, Grace (Jerry) Reynolds, of NY, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, May 27, from 4-8 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held Thursday, May 28, at the funeral home.
