Obituary of Mildred Barber

MILDRED BARBER CANANDAIGUA: Mildred "Millie" Barber, 83, passed away at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center on Aug. 19. Mildred was born on April 25, 1932 to the late William and Margaret Schaeffer Strong. She was a 1950 graduate of Bloomfield Central School and be employed by General Dynamics for a number of years. Millie was an amazing cook and dedicated to her close pals Sammi and Coco. The widow of Charles Barber who died in 2012 she is survived by her daughters Deborah (Todd) Lowney, Arizona and Linda (Robert) Joslyn, Canandaigua; grandsons Luke and Charlie (Tasha) Mendez; 7 great grandchildren; sister Dorothy Cherry, Canandaigua; brother Butch (Maryann)Strong, South Carolina and a sister-in-law Pat Barber, Virginia. Friends may call at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. where services will follow visitation at 2:00. Burial will be in Boughton Hill Cemetery.
