**Update** A celebration of life for George Coleates, who passed away on November 11, 2015, will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Canandaigua Moose Lodge from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Please join us in remembrance. George "Hoss" Coleates George "Hoss" Coleates, 77, of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015. He was born May 24, 1938 in Elmira, New York. He enjoyed playing steel and bass guitar and singing country music. He enjoyed building model airplanes, golfing, history and making people laugh. George is survived by his wife of 56 years, Evelyn Coleates of Lake Panasoffkee, FL; daughters: Robyn Spedick of Canandaigua, NY, and Jeanine Phifer (Jimmy) of Bessemer City, NC; grandson: Robert Spedick of Canandaigua, NY; and special friends: Donald and Sandy Colf of Lake Panasoffkee, FL and his daughters, Linda, Judy, Laurie, Shelly, Tracy and Bonnie. Funeral services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his memory to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Foundation.
