Obituary of Danielle M. Violanti

Violanti, Danielle M. Passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016, at age 46, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was greeted at the Heavenly gates by her grandfather, Joseph Violanti, and her beloved grandmother, Josephine Violanti. She is survived by her husband, Brian Busby; cherished sons, Dylan and Alex Gardner; their father, Andy (Tammy) Gardner; her father; Dominic “Dom” (Mara) Violanti; brothers; Nick (Andrea) and Joel Violanti; sister, Heather (Jamie) Lucki; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, including Sandy (Carl) Hendrickson, Angela Perrotto, Michaela (Victor) Perrotto, Christina (Eric) D’Agostino, Alicia Hendrickson; mother-in-law, Nancy Busby; and father-in-law, Harold “Hal” (Kate) Busby; and extended family Bill (Ginny) Gardner, and Paula Gardner. She is also survived by dear friends, Shelley (Jessie) Orbaker, Greg (Lori) Alexander, Valerie Gardner, Joe Gray, and many others. Danielle grew up in Canandaigua, and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, class of ’87. Up until her illness prevented it, she worked most recently at Constellation Brands as an accounts payable clerk. Her most fulfilling achievements were her sons. She was a loud and proud Wildcat mom! She so enjoyed cheering them on as Dylan played baseball and basketball, and Alex performed on his trumpet in band. Danielle loved to sing karaoke with her friends, and as luck would have it, one particular performance led to meeting the love of her life, Brian. The rest, as they say, is history. Danielle was a loving and loyal friend. She will be profoundly missed by all of those who were honored to know her. Friends may call Tuesday, 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. In memory of Danielle, guests are encouraged to wear her favorite color, purple. Her funeral mass will be held, Wednesday, 1pm at St. Mary’s Church, 95 N Main St., Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to fund a scholarship program for a deserving Marcus Whitman senior band member.
