Obituary of Janis T. Huckabone

Janis (Tiberio)(Graham) Huckabone was called home by the Lord on Saturday, April 29, 2023 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by loving family. Janis was born at home on March 1, 1934 to John and Marjorie (Trickey) Tiberio in Bristol Springs, NY. She graduated from Naples High School in 1952. She served on the yearbook committee and participated in chorus and sextet. She attended Houghton College. Janis then made a career of being a Typesetter/Graphic Designer for several large and small businesses. She retired from Kodak several years ago and then worked part-time for the Pennysaver for a few years. Janis was a musician (played piano), an artist (chalk, oil and watercolor paintings) an avid bird watcher, and loved watching sports: football, basketball and golf. Janis’s main priority for the past several years was to care for her first-born daughter, Bonnie, who is severely mentally and physically handicapped. They enjoyed traveling, when able, watching westerns and doing jigsaw puzzles. Janis is survived by her children: Bonnie Graham, Patty (Toby) Burnham, Robin (John Lascala) Folts, Robert Graham, Randy (Rachelle) Parker, and Ronda DiDio. Several grandchildren: Rachel (who shares grandma’s birthday), Brandon, Ciera, David, Joshua, and Ryan. Great-grandchildren: Haley, Mario, Nicholas, Anthony, Ethan, and Rowan. She is also survived by her sister, Phyllis Harring and her brother Robert Tiberio, as well as several nieces and nephews. Janis was predeceased by her parents (John and Marjorie Tiberio) and her brother Richard Tiberio and her sister Laurie Schenk-Goodrich.
