Mark Perrin Jr.

Obituary of Mark A. Perrin Jr.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Mark A. Perrin on September 16, 2023 at the age of 28. He was born in Canandaigua, NY on October 31, 1994 to Mark E. Perrin Sr. and Ronnie J. Perrin (Callery). He leaves behind his parents, his sisters, Deveon Spaeth and Elizabeth Zagorski; his son, Alaric; his nephews, Johnathan, Nathan, and Elijah; his niece Myra, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and other extended family. He was preceded by his grandfather, Earl Perrin; his aunt, Christie Reubens; his grandmother, Char Van Waes, and many other extended family members. Mark was a lifelong resident of Ontario County, New York. He graduated from Red Jacket High school in 2012. At the time of his death, he was kitchen manager at Twisted Rails Brew Company in Canandaigua, NY. He enjoyed his work there and was a talented cook, adding his own spin on recipes. Mark enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing Magic the Gathering and video games, watching Doctor Who and other Sci-Fi and fantasy shows, and being outdoors. He adored his kitten, Mitzy and had a real gift for working with animals. Mark had a knack for making just about anyone feel heard, because despite the many trials and injustices he faced in his own life, Mark put love into the people around him and wanted others to feel welcomed. If you needed something and Marky had it, he wouldn't think twice about giving it to you. This generosity extended to his very life. Not too long before his passing, Mark risked his own life to save a drowning person near his work. He did not think twice. He was humble and caring. One of Mark's many gifts in this world was to see the smallest flicker of light in just about everyone. In the end, this cost him a great deal of pain and suffering and ultimately, his life, but it was foundational to his character. He suspended judgement and cared when others wouldn't or couldn't. His humor could bring a whole room to laughter and the levity he brought to others will be sorely missed. His absence in our lives is palpable, but we know his soul is strong and will make its way to our ancestors. When it is our time for our next chapter, we will meet him joyfully once again. It is with profound love that we say farewell until we meet again, Marky. Friends may call Saturday, October 7, from 1-4pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. Consider making a donation to Innocence Project or the Ontario County SPCA in lieu of flowers. There will be a celebration of life for Mark held directly after calling hours at Twisted Rails Brewing Company. To share a memory or express condolences online please visit www.fullerfh.com
