Obituary of Ruth A. Tucceri

Ruth A. Tucceri, of Manchester, New York passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on January 11, 2024. She was born May 16, 1942 in Bath, New York to Frye and Jennie Talbot. She was one of twelve children. Ruth is survived by her six daughters and three son in laws, two siblings and eight grandchildren. Her daughters, Lisa and Roger Decook, of Canandaigua, Karen Spano, of Allen, Texas, Lori and Ray McMillen, of Canandaigua, New York, Kelly Spano of Waterloo, New York, Loni and Ed Dietsche of Canandaigua, New York and Kathi Suhr of Phelps, New York. She is predeceased in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters and two husbands. She was married to her first husband, Merlin Spano, for thirty five years and her second husband, Anthony Tucceri, for ten years. Ruth spent her life as a stay at home wife and mother. She and her first husband Merlin were foster parents to abused newborns over several years. She always had extra children around the house to babysit during a twenty five year period. She loved to cruise and play slots at the casino. She loved to do crafts and to collect porcelain dolls. When she died Ruth had over one hundred dolls in her home. Friends may call Wednesday, January 17, from 2-4 PM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 4 PM funeral service will follow at the funeral home. A 10 AM graveside service will held Thursday, January 18, in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua.
