Obituary of Barbara Larder

Barbara A. Larder 1920 – 2009 Canandaigua Of Grandview Park passed away May 19, 2009 at the Elm Manor Nursing Home. She was born July 20, 1920 in Prattsburgh, Steuben Co. NY. While she was living in Prattsburgh she was employed at the Westinghouse plant in Bath NY from 1951-1961. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Bessie Brown of Prattsburgh, NY. She was the widow of the late Robert W. Jensen who died in 1945. Barbara lived in prattsburgh until marriage to Walter Larder, Jr. January 20, 1962 when she made Canandaigua her home. She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Larder Jr. Children; Robert (Louise) Jensen of Canandaigua, NY Kathryn Jensen Allen, of Laurel, MD Step-children; Gary Larder of Rochester NY., Donald Larder (wife Patty) of Cordova, TN Six Grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren Three sisters; Elizabeth Schmahl of Getzville, NY, Harriet Chapman of Farmington NY, Irene Middleton of Zephyrhills, FL. Many nieces and nephews. Barbara is predeceased by a sister Charlotte Badger Friends may call Thu. From 7-9 pm. At the Fuller Funeral Home 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 am. At the Chapin United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Canandaigua.
