Obituary of Stewart Homer

Stewart Homer Canandaigua- Stewart Homer, 65, Cramer Rd. resident, passed away October 26, 2013 at his home. He served in the US Marine Corp. and was highly decorated receiving the Purple Heart and Navy Commendation Metal. Stewart also served as an Airborne Ranger. He is survived by his loving companion and wife of 33 years, Nancy, sharing a lot of love, laughter and fun; Mother; Catherine M. Homer, of Syracuse; Son; Scott C. (Dawn) Rude Sr.;brothers, Robert T.(Deanne) Homer; Wilbur R. (Shelly) Homer Jr.,sister; Geraldine M. (Henry) Fely; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Ray Henry. Stewart was predeceased by his father, Wilbur R. Homer Sr. and a son Stewart D. Homer. Friends may call Tuesday October 29 from 6-8 pm and Wednesday October 30 from 11am-1pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 1 pm funeral service at the funeral home will follow Wednesday visitation.
