Obituary of Richard Treese

“Orleans Historian” Richard Dee Treese “Dicky” Stanley- Richard Treese, 69, passed away November 19, 2013 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. Born in Clifton Springs to the late Calvin and Anna Pauline (Polly) Treese, Dick worked at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua for 42 years. He was well known for collecting all things related to the history of Orleans NY. Dick was predeceased by his parents and sister, Jean Houck. He is survived by brothers, Calvin (Marlene), Robert (Joyce); twin sister, Dorothy Weeks; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, November 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held Saturday November 23 at the funeral home.
