Richard H. Kleckner Jr.
Canandaigua- Richard H. Kleckner Jr., 56, of Main St., passed away December 14, 2013 at F.F. Thompson Hospital after a long battle with lung disease, with his family by his side.
Rich retire from Labelon Corporation in 2002 as an Environmental Compliance officer and Coating manager.
He was a current member of the Canandaigua Moose and Elks Lodge, where he held an officers position, at both, before his illness.
Rich enjoyed cooking, reading and most of all spending time playing with his cat and watching sci-fi on TV.
He is survived by his wife, of 38 years, Darla; sisters, Suzanne Claudio, Roberta (Rubin) Walton, Dixie (Robert) Whitman; brother, Frank Kleckner; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, his cat, Jake.
Rich was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Mildred Kleckner; and mother-in-law, Carolyn Wheeler.
At Richs request, there will be no calling hours. An 11:00 a.m. graveside service will be held Friday, December 20 in Woodlawn Cemetery, N. Pearl St., Canandaigua. A celebration of his life will be held at the Moose Lodge at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Fuller Funeral Home, Inc.
